These results are best obtained through an individualized treatment plan using a combination of treatment methods such as visual sclerotherapy, foam and liquid sclerotherapy and ultrasound guided injections, endovenous laser or radiofrequency ablations, microphlebectomies, ligations and surgical stripping and ligations. Combination therapies have become the standard of care for the treatment of varicose vein disease.
