Varicose vein disease is a chronic and recurring condition. The treatments available do not offer a cure, but rather the opportunity to prevent the progression of and to control the existing signs and symptoms of varicose vein disease. It is important to monitor the effects of treatment at regular intervals and to have reassessments for any new symptoms or any change in existing signs and symptoms. 

We recommend reassessments 3 months following treatments, or as recommended by your surgeon for special circumstances.
