At AV&V, we are dedicated to providing specialized and comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and best practice treatments to our patients with venous disease and are committed to excellence in our practice. Our goal is to treat venous issues and alleviate the symptoms of venous disease while obtaining the best cosmetic results. These results are best obtained through an individualized treatment plan using a combination of treatment methods such as visual sclerotherapy, foam and liquid sclerotherapy and ultrasound guided injections, endovenous laser or radiofrequency ablations, microphlebectomies, ligations and surgical stripping and ligations. Combination therapies have become the standard of care for the treatment of varicose vein disease.

You will be informed about what it is that we specialize in and why it is important to understand venous reflux as a disease rather than a disorder in appearances. Varicose vein disease is a chronic and recurrent condition. The variety of treatment options available offer a control of the condition, not a cure. Surgically removed veins will not grow back, and sclerosed veins will not return; however, your tendency towards developing new veins will not be relieved by any form of treatment. We are objective in our teaching about venous disease treatment options and the advantages and disadvantages of each, and our goal is to find the best treatment option for you.
